This would probably be good for someone who wants to try out a game and see if they want it or not. But you would also be spending a few bucks if you purchase the game, in the end, anyways.
That's the thing I don't really like about this.
If you did want to try out a game you're considering, you'd be able to download a demo of the game through your own game console. Sooo, I don't see a big purpose for this game rental. You'd be spending more money than you need to.
What redbox does offer is that if you have the game rental for 30 days, you'll be able to keep it. The thing is, you would have payed around $60 for it.
This is just my opinion.
